Frequently asked questions Setting up FAQs General 01 How do I navigate on the desktop (non-mobile) version of this site? Use the ribbon of links found in the header above, beneath the Blind Sanity logo. If you are using text-to-speech software, the [TAB] key will move you from one link to another. 02 How do I navigate on the mobile version of this site? Locate the menu by selecting the box in the upper-right corner of your screen. Select from a list of menu items which will appear. 03 How do I become a member? Membership is free! On the desktop version of the site, click on "Sign-up/Login" button located on the upper-right side of the page and follow the instructions. For the mobile version of the site, select the three-horizontal lines on the upper right of your screen. Select "Sign-up/Login" and please follow the instructions. 04 How can I comment on posts in the blog and forum pages? You can read all posts and listen to the podcast without being a member. However, membership will allow you to post, comment, and interact with others on the site. All free. We're working to build a community of people to offer support and wisdom and we'd like you to be apart of it, so consider joining. 05 How do I sign-up for free membership? Follow the instructions below: Click or tap on the sign-up/login link above. If you have a Google or Facebook account, select the Google and Facebook links on the page. If you are signed into either Google or Facebook, you will have your account made automatically. If you aren't signed into either and select one of the links, you'll be met with a request for email. Select the Blind Sanity logo at the very-top of your screen from any page to return to the home-page automatically. 08 How do I search blog articles by categories? Each blog article is labeled "Tech, News, Lifestyle, Finances, and Legal". Click on any of these categories, found at the top of the blog-page to sort through articles under the selected category. 09 How do I search through articles and comments on the Forum pages? Click or select the magnifying-glass icon in the "Search" bar, found on the upper right of the Forum page, beneath the header and links above. 10 How do I search episodes on the Podcast? Beneath the show's description, use the search bar to enter keywords to search our library of podcast episodes. 11 How do I search for a topic throughout the entire website? Select "SiteSearch" in the menu at the top of the page; use the search bar which appears. Currently, this search wont' include podcasts in its results. Working on it! 12 What if I can't use the sign-up feature, how can I become a member? Please contact the webmaster or click on the "Contact Us" link menu above and we will reach-out to you! 13 How can I subscribe to the Podcast? Want to view and manage all your collections? Click on the Content Manager button in the Add panel on the left. Here, you can make changes to your content, add new fields, create dynamic pages and more. You can create as many collections as you need. Your collection is already set up for you with fields and content. Add your own, or import content from a CSV file. Add fields for any type of content you want to display, such as rich text, images, videos and more. You can also collect and store information from your site visitors using input elements like custom forms and fields. Be sure to click Sync after making changes in a collection, so visitors can see your newest content on your live site.
